Gotta thank all those "DIY-ers" ahead of me that made so many awesome, informative, short and sweet instructional videos. I do plan to pay that forward. Everybody has their learning curve and their preferred learning approach. So great that the Internet facilitated getting up to speed quickly to get this tiny house "show on the road".

Just closed up shop right outside the door. Short commute back home. Outside walls are still white. Standard shell turned over to me just in time for major drop in temperatures that did not let up until LATE Spring. The cold made it almost impossible to use certain materials outside. It was pretty incredible to be so cold for so long in this area (I'm told).
Able to progress inside as it got unexpectedly colder and colder outside. Walking back and forth from miter saw in outdoor barn location to inside sawhorse "desk". Learning the tools to fine tune the white ship lap seen going up on the walls! I'm till mastering the finer details of the jig saw, table saw, circular saw, power drills and bits, and my life saver, the orange carpenter square
Finally, snow relented for a while. Still too cold to caulk (so I thought) and paint, but need to get the ceiling panels up inside. They were gigantic (to me) my largest material yet. I used wood birch panels that were 4 foot by 8 foot. Needless to say that this required creativity with the table saw space in order to cut them to size outside.
The simple fact that I could set up this space outside with no snow (finally!) or rain was amazing. I had been trudging through it all for months to keep this project moving forward. Typically a warm weather fan, I just had to smile and grab the outdoor office opportunity.
Still cold, but so excited to have another opportunity to be in the sun working!
